Castellaneta Marina, located about half an hour from Casa Isabella, was founded in the early 1960s with the development of tourist areas within its vast Aleppo pine forest.

The coastline, known as Bosco Pineto, stretches for about 10 km of crystal-clear sea, fine golden sand, dunes, Mediterranean scrub, and well-equipped beach resorts. The area extending to the mouth of the Lato River is a protected natural reserve.
